Launa Winship is a young, emerging, French Australian multimedia artist.
Launa completed a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Brisbane. Afterwards she worked as a graphic designer in conjunction with solo and group art exhibitions.
Launa designs simplified two-dimensional versions of objects. Then she fills in the surface with stickers, creating a mulitlevel work.
The stickers are associated with millennial mass-produced pop culture and her collection grew extensively when she stayed in South East Asia.
The current serie has a particular focus on mass production of Catholic plastic merchandise.
